Local storage only: Your favorites list and tab preferences are stored exclusively in your local browser via Chrome's chrome.storage.local API and are cleared when you uninstall the extension.
Minimal permissions: The extension requests only storage (local storage) and contextMenus (to register a right-click menu item). It does not request any host permissions, does not inject any content scripts, and does not read the content of any webpage you visit.
How cross-site favorites work: When you select Chinese characters on any webpage and click "加入好名宝收藏" from the right-click menu, Chrome passes your selected text together with the active tab's URL and title to the extension's service worker. This data is used solely to write a local favorite record and is never sent to any server.
Outbound links: Buttons such as "去好名宝官网" open babynameai.org in a new tab. Your subsequent behavior on the website is governed by the other sections of this policy.
